Abstract

The paper presents the basic terms and functions of contemporary education model, itsadvantages and disadvantages and characteristic of e-learning projects. The second part showsfree, open source e-learning system: LAMS (Learning Activity Management System), whichcould be an alternative for commercial tools. The third part describes results of LAMSWZiEU project - implementation of blended learning at the Faculty of Management andEconomics of Services.
