Entrepreneurship is an interdisciplinary and diversely defined issue, depending on the field of science. Since the concept became the subject of scientific reflection, the question arises: what is entrepreneurship in practice? Socio-economic changes in our country influenced, among other things, the transformation of the labour market. The effects of these changes are mostly felt by young people. It is they who face a career choice and enter the labour market. In this social group, entrepreneurial attitudes should be developed in such a direction that the young person is active and creative. Unfortunately, the disappearance of entrepreneurial features is being increasingly observed, and the actions of individuals are mechanical and passive. Entrepreneurship of young people, i.e. willingness and readiness to undertake work in the future, is considered an important development element in the modern world. Therefore, it is important to take up the subject of entrepreneurship among young people who will soon be on the labour market. The aim of the article is to analyse selected concepts and aspects of the topic studied. Particular attention is devoted to the analysis of entrepreneurial attitudes of young people, which verified the results of empirical research on the views of students on entrepreneurship classes matriculation schools in Krakow.References
