Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a key role in achieving business success, combining innovation, man- agement and strategic thinking. The purpose of this article is to analyse the concept of entrepreneurship as a determinant of success, with a focus on management theory and practical strategies and tactics used by business leaders. The article refers to the literature on the subject and presents examples of successful management practices in the context of modern economic challenges in an era of dynamic economic, technological, political and legal changes of the environment, with an indication of the increasingly scarce time for adaptive actions on the way to business success.
